Director of Grant Administration East Bay
Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Research, Sponsored Programs, and Graduate Studies the Director of Grant Administration is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations in pre and post-award grant administration functions, ensuring the campus is following and in compliance with all Federal, State, CSU and campus policies and procedures for the conduct of research and administration of sponsored projects, as well as funder guidelines. This position oversees both pre-award and post-award staff, student assistants and part-time staff assigned to or who support post-award/ORSP functions. Unit functions include but are not limited to: proposal submissions, award transitions, award acceptances and ongoing day-to-day management, subaward and subrecipient management, monitoring grant budgets, expenditures, purchase and hiring, procurement, and fiscal reporting.
