
Temporary Faculty for the Department of Marketing and Logistics
Lecturer in Fashion Merchandising
Position Summary:
The successful applicant may teach Fashion Merchandising courses. We are interested in candidates who are qualified to teach FM-126 (History of Costumes).
- Primary instruction will be on-campus once Fresno State repopulates according to CDC guidelines.
- Appointees will be required to demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
Qualifications:
Required
Education (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.): A Master's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles and Clothing, or related field such as History of Costume and Costume Design.
Experience:
- Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
Preferred
Education A PhD in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles and Clothing, or related field.
Experience:
- Successful teaching experience at the graduate level.
- Expertise in a closely-related natural science discipline.
