Director of Ticket Sales & Services

Fresno State Athletic Corporation

Compensation:

This position includes full benefits. This is a full-time, exempt position. Athletic Corporation employees are at-will.

 

Job Summary:

The Director of Ticket Sales and Service of the Fresno State Athletic Corporation will provide direct oversight of all ticket sales and service staff members, hold staff accountable to departmental goals and priorities, and will direct and oversee the ticket sales and service operational budget. This position will lead and direct sales efforts with the expectation to continually identify new sales opportunities and lead efforts to increase attendance and ticket revenue. This position is expected to be an expert in ticketing technology solutions offered by departmental partners, such as Paciolan, Adobe, and SalesForce, and will continually research and implement the best practices and strategies utilizing current and future technologies. The Director of Ticket Sales and Service will also be responsible for the development of ticket price structure, season ticket campaigns, ticket design and ordering, digital ticketing platforms, and integration of various software platforms including development CRM, parking, student ticketing, rewards programs, and data analytics. 

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant sales experience and/or knowledge of or relationships with businesses, community groups, and organizations
  • Experience working as the primary media contact for ticket sales, service, and/or operations
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, the G-Suite, email marketing platforms, and ticketing specific software and CRM tools such as Paciolan, SalesForce, Adobe, ReplyBuy, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of intercollegiate sports
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field
  • Minimum of three years full-time supervisorial experience in collegiate or professional sports ticket sales and/or ticket operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with personnel management at events.
