(Library Services Specialist II)

Compensation and Benefits

Staff:
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $3246 -$4166 per month

Full classification Salary Range: $3246 -$5983 per month

  • This is a full-time (equivalent to 40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position. 

The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 14 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Dean, the Electronic Reserves (E-Reserves) Service Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating the provision of the E-Reserves service in support of teaching and learning at Fresno State.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills, with a working knowledge of automated library systems, learning management systems, and the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Snagit, Camtasia, SpringShare Applications, and Handbrake.
  • Able to adapt to and troubleshoot new software and technology.
  • Familiarity with library subscription databases and licensing terms as well as copyright law.
  • Demonstrated commitment to principles and practices of equity and diversity and experience promoting a respectful work and learning environment for students, staff and faculty.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to acquire applicable Library and university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

Education and Experience

  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible library experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

To this end, the Library selects, develops, manages and provides access to information resources; promotes the critical use of information for learning and research; and presents cultural and scholarly programming that serves the campus, region and beyond.
