Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary: $4,304 per month
Full classification Salary Range: $4,304 - $6,120 per month
- This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 14 paid holidays a year. The Coordinator of Dog Days: New Student Orientation at California State University, Fresno will execute programming designed to support new and continuing students during their transition into and through the university. In conjunction with the program lead, the Coordinator has responsibility for directing, developing, and administering the orientation program for new students and first-year programs. The ideal candidate is collaborative, flexible, innovative, and open to creating and implementing new ideas and is a vital member for the team. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
- Interpret and apply university policies, regulations and procedures including those that may be updated frequently
- Create and maintain program records and provide data for the development and implementation of strategies and activities to support student success
- Provide quality student services as demonstrated in patience, tact, courtesy, flexibility, and responsiveness to student needs
- Use initiative, resourcefulness, and time management in planning and implementing work assignments
- Maintain positive and effective working relationships with colleagues in a team-oriented environment both within the office and across the division and campus community

Education and Experience
- Equivalent of three years of professional experience in a student services program area or in a related field.
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job-related field.
- A master's degree in a job-related field may be substituted for one year of the professional experience
