Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,833 to $6,666 per month
This is a full-time, exempt position.
The Fresno State Athletic Corporation provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, participation in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), and sick and vacation time. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Associate Athletic Director for Strategy and Data Innovation will oversee, lead, and direct all aspects of department strategies and the implementation of data analytics related to revenue generation marketing, ticket operations, and overall student-athlete performance for the Athletic Corporation. This position will serve on the senior leadership team and have sport oversight.
- Experience in leveraging data and analytics to achieve revenue and other goals
- Experience in developing and creating significant new revenue streams
- Demonstrated Business Innovation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute large projects
- Ability to gather data from various social media platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of intercollegiate sports
- Ability to provide solutions to complex issues arising from internal or external events. Issues may be operational or strategic.
- Ability to convey information to senior leadership team that will likely influence strategic decisions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively communicate issues and progress
- Strong technical skills (statistics/coding) background
- Experience with database management language

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management or in a related field
- Five (5) or more years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, ticket sales, revenue generation, stewardship and/or customer retention
