Political Science - Assistant Professor Fresno
The Department of Political Science at California State University, Fresno invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with a specialization in the areas of Public Policy, Public Administration, and/or State and Local Politics. We are seeking candidates with a strong research agenda, a history of teaching as the instructor of record, and a commitment to diversity. Must have a Ph.D. in hand by August 1, 2021. Preference is given to applications received by October 20, 2020.
Temporary Faculty CalState Teach Fresno
CalStateTEACH is the CSU’s system-wide online Multiple Subject Program and one of 23 California Commission on Teacher Credentialing approved teacher preparation programs in the CSU System. The curriculum is delivered online and candidates are placed in classrooms with site mentors in all three terms of the program. Candidates are assigned in cohorts with CalStateTEACH faculty.

Temporary Hire Pool - Staff Fresno
The purpose of this recruitment is to establish a pool of qualified candidates, from which multiple short term, temporary appointments may be made. Such appointments are commonly referred to as an “Emergency Appointment”. Qualified applicants will remain in the pool through December 31, 2020. Temporary employees are not eligible to gain permanent status with the university as a result of appointments from this pool. Appointments from this pool automatically expires on or before the period stated below, and does not establish consideration for subsequent appointments or any future employment rights.
