Clinical Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship
Full-Time Lecturer

The Department of Management in the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in Entrepreneurship. We are looking for an individual who can advance thought leadership and help foster a culture of entrepreneurship in the Department, School, University, and community. The successful candidate will be able to champion the role of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial mindset in accelerating inclusive economic development in our community, across campus, and the San Joaquin Valley.
The individual will support the growth and development of a cadre of community-based experts to enhance the entrepreneurship curriculum and outreach. Collaborate with other faculty (department and across campus) to enhance the entrepreneurship-related curriculum for the option, minor, certificate, and entrepreneurship-embedded concepts throughout the university campus. Teach four (4) courses per year in Entrepreneurship at the undergraduate level (and possibly graduate level). Lead existing programs on campus including Johanson Fellows, CEO Club, Student Hatchery, and Entrepreneur Mentorship Program. Work with appropriate administrators, faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders to support the University’s Agriculture-Business-Engineering (“ABE”) initiative. Develop and expand Entrepreneurship-focused programs on campus and in the community that supports the missions of the Department, Center, School, and University. Specific assignments are dependent on departmental needs and the background of the individual.

Qualifications:
Required Education (from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.):
- Graduate degree from an AACSB-accredited (or equivalent) school in business or a related field
Required Experience:
- Proven track record in entrepreneurship as a founder, corporate or social entrepreneur, and/or investor.
- Ability to demonstrate superior communication, networking, and community-building skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching entrepreneurship courses to undergraduate students.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to working with faculty, staff, students, and local communities from diverse backgrounds that include but are not limited to racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience and fluency in the agriculture industry, food innovation, and/or food processing, as well as emerging technologies/high-tech or entrepreneurial finance, particularly as it relates to food and agriculture.
- Terminal degree in Entrepreneurship or a closely related field.
- Evidence of journal publications in entrepreneurship or business-related topics.

Salary Range:
Salary placement commensurate with experience within ranks established by the CSU Salary Schedule. Anticipated hiring range: $90,000 to $140,000.
